This half-day workshop introduces participants to the practices and principles of emotional intelligence through the lens of two models: the Emotional Intelligence Skills Assessment Profile (EISAP) and the EQ-i 2.0/EQ 360 models.

This one-day programme introduces participants to the practices and principles of the multi-lateral approach to emotional intelligence.


By using the Multi-Lateral Approach to Emotional Intelligence model during this workshop, enables participants to be inducted into the practices and principles of Emotional and Cultural Intelligence as well as Emotional Resilience, giving them a (w)holistic approach to the competencies and resilience in the workplace.


  • Explore the practices and principles of Emotional & Cultural Intelligence

  • Define what Emotional Resilience is and explore the key principles

  • Gain insight into Emotional & Intercultural competence and how this works seamlessly with Emotional Resilience

  • Define how to develop emotional resilience in the workplace​

  • Recognise emotional triggers and automatic unplanned responses and, how to react, in order to build your resilience with current issues within the workplace; which impacts your mental and emotional health and wellbeing

  • Recognise your emotional needs - explore relevant infrastructures, support networks and/or service providers

This intensive workshop will emphasise why Emotional Intelligence has become a crucial part in how today’s leaders meet the day-to-day challenges they face. Emotional Intelligence skills are integral to decision making, empathising with subordinates, peers, co-workers and friends.  Group discussions on effective communication, organisational vision, values and culture and, overcoming challenging workplace situations, whilst remaining resilient.


At the end of this workshop,participants will:

  • Understand the role of emotional intelligence in effective leadership,

  • Explore key areas of leadership in relation to emotional intelligence,

  • Understand the key elements of the EQ-i 2.0 Leadership Report,

  • Articulate strengths and areas with opportunity for growth,

  • Discuss the EQ-i 2.0 in relationship to areas of leadership potential,

  • Identify and understand how aspects of emotional intelligence lead to derailing behaviors, and

  • Apply what they have learned in the session by developing a personal EQ-i 2.0 learning plan.
